The model aims to increase students’ learning motivation (seeking to reduce early school leaving, strengthen students to seek for better learning results and continue learning) and a social inclusion (assisting students in career planning while reducing antisocial behaviour). Applying cognitive and narrative psychotherapies principles and elements, a learning motivation intervention model was created for students with EBLD.
The learning motivation intervention model is adapted for educators use. The educators, including psychologists, social and special pedagogues, social workers and any interested teachers can use it as a tool to help students to deal with emotional, behavioural and learning problems.
